Baby Steps to Your Best Body Ever

Fact:
You want the body of your dreams.

Fact:
You don’t love the idea of changing every single thing about your life to get there.

Fact:
Focusing on baby steps will help you see results in a heartbeat!!

Fiction:
You can’t do it….

DUHHH, YOU TOTALLY CAN!!!
It’s time to throw your excuses out the window and start moving in a more positive direction, one step at a time!

Push Yourself

Drink a full glass of water before each meal.

Ditch the elevator and take the stairs.

Read the label on each item before you pile up your shopping cart.

Keep a bag of almonds and a spare water bottle in your car.

Dedicate one day a week to going meat-less.

Do 20 squats each time a commercial break comes on the TV.

Remember Your Goal

Smile and say something nice to someone each day.

Take a daily multivitamin and probiotic.

Set a timer to walk around the office every 20 minutes.

Cut up your veggies right when you get home from the grocery store.

Mix up some olive oil, dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar and italian seasoning for a quick salad dressing.

Make one workout a week first thing in the morning.

Be Your Own Fitspiration

Spend 5 minutes before bed with your eyes closed and just focus on your breathing.

Look in the mirror and say, “I’m Beautiful!!” (even if you don’t believe it).

Stand up out of bed each morning and stretch your arms up high to the sky.

Suggest a catch up walk with a friend instead of coffee.

Go outside during your lunch break.

Sign up for a 5k….even if you plan on walking the whole way.

You Control Your Body

Download a food tracking app like MyFitnessPal or Livestrong.

Finish your veggies first.

Schedule your complimentary training session that comes with most gym memberships.

Dry brush before jumping in the shower.

Moisturize after jumping out of the shower.

Repeat your goals each morning.

No Time to Workout?

To your bangin’ body…. one baby step at a time,
Rachel
