Hot Bod In A Blender

Ever since Juice Farm opened up in Old Town Pasadena, my love for a kick-ass smoothie has been reborn. I always enjoy a fantastic juice (like the ones I make at home and those sold in the adorable glass bottles at this great new hotspot), but their smoothie combinations instantly got me going. Actually, it was really one specific ingredient that was love at first taste…. CINNAMON!

After trying several of their mouth-watering varieties which kept my energy up all day and my taste buds rejoicing, I pulled out my blender and started mixing. The result was my new favorite made-at-home smoothie… hands down, no ifs ands or buts about it.

Soooo, are you craving something delightfully refreshing that will fill you up, keep you going and get you excited about a healthier and happier lifestyle??
Me too… as usual!

Grab your re-usable grocery bag, load up and start blending everyone!!

THE PRE-STEP

Oats & Almond Milk

The night before you blend, combine and refrigerate 1/2 cup of oats in about 2 cups of Almond Milk.
I, of course, put my combinations in mason jars… because mason jars are the shit. If there’s extra room at the top of the jar, I top it off with some water.

BLEND IT

Smoothies

Blend your pre-made oats soaked in Almond Milk with your desired combination of fruits and veggies. Here’s what I’ve been using:

1 banana
1-2 cups of frozen berries
1 cup frozen spinach
1 cup frozen mangos
Several shakes of ground cinnamon…. seriously, shake it like a salt shaker & load that bad boy up!

BLEND BLEND BLEND…
HOT BOD IN A BLENDER IS BORN!!!

BUT WAIT!
THERE’S MOOOORE…
